Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 452212.

Serious damage to manhole cover, smashed by lorry mounting kirb. Temporary barriers keep falling down leaving large deep hole in pavement, this requires urgent attention, has been dangerous for months now.

  • I originally reported this fault on 18 November 2022 (over four months ago now!) and it still hasn’t been fixed. As someone else has reported today, the barrier has repeatedly fallen down - it’s a hazard to pedestrians and cyclists and probably a matter of time before someone injures themselves. This is a busy footpath and shared cycle path and is also used by many children in particular on their way to school and nursery.

    Please can you arrange for this to be fixed as a matter of urgency?
