The first one, in Gainsborough Road just north of the junction with High Street on the east side, is mid-way between a "Water" manhole and the tarmac footpath. Approx 1m deep, 3' (!) and 10cm, 12" across. Water can be heard flowing at the bottom. Burst Main?? dangerous, partly hidden by the grass.
