The pot hole is around 2 meters in length. The road is completely warn. I drove over this patch with brand new tyres on my car having only come out the garage 2 weeks for new tyres. It caused my tyre to blow out and resulted in me being stuck on the side of the road for a number of hours. Having needed to wait for assistance to change the tyre as the grass verge was too soft to do so.

I noted the following day that the road was closed following my telephone report. The pot hole was not filled and still exists.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because this was observed on inspection as a shallow defect where red surfacing is worn away. This is not at intervention level and is too shallow to repair as a pothole. Thank you for reporting this matter.
