Thorton
Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category by John Paul Coulter at 08:25, Sunday 2 April 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 453820.
The footpaths are overgrown with weeds and are virtually unusable. Used by all Thornton residents and new residents at Langton Rise housing estate. In some places we have to walk on the road to avoid trip hazards. The last time they were repaired was approximately ten years ago.

No action has been taken to repair the footpaths in the village, they are even worse now. I have had no response from Highways. Having to walk along the road with cars passing at up to 60 mph. In some places the footpath is so overgrown with weeds and nettles you can't even see it.
