Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 10:48, Monday 3 April 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 453968.

There have been two complaints about flooding in front of my property since January 2023, but neither has been resolved (Refs: 444411 and 451839). My complaints were rejected on the basis that all drains were cleared last year, therefore it is not possible that it can be blocked again, but unfortunately ground reality is different. The harsh weather was also blamed for this flooding, but there has been no harsh weather, and every light rain causes flooding in front of my home. I hope someone will visit the site to see the ground reality. In light of this issue, I am concerned about my children, who are at risk, and I pray they will not be harmed by this continuous negligence.

  • Why does it takes three reports of the same problem for to even bother looking at it appropriately? Try getting out of the office and seeing groundtruth in a timely manner. Your apathetic approach to infrastructure management has a direct and negative impact on people's lives. I guess that you are just too arrogant to feel shameful with persistent failure.

Updated by Lincolnshire County Council at 07:46, Wednesday 16 August 2023

  • In recent months, flooding caused severe damage to road and created many potholes, but now the local council is carpeting the street, which should be complete by 21 August 2023. The road will again be damaged if this blocked drain takes several months to clear and therefore public tax money will be wasted. It would be great if the process could be expedited to save the road and public funds
