Faulty Gate handles between Charter Avenue and Princess Grove
Reported via desktop in the Damaged/missing paving slab category anonymously at 21:44, Mon 3 April 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 454152.
The gates have dropped and the clasps on the handles do not align without lifting the gate to ensure it catches. So its very difficult to open and close securely at both ends of this public walkway. Its getting worse and its been like this for a few months now.

Thanks for letting us know about the issue. In this case this does not appear to be a Lincolnshire County Council Highways asset and is attached to what looks like a private property. Please directly contact the Property Owner/Landlord/Housing association. To find the owner of the land you could contact Land Registry at https://www.gov.uk/ government/ organisations/ land-registry .

This is between two properties and is a public thoroughfare and isn't on private properties.

The second gate off of Charter Avenue is getting more difficult to open. Please can this be addressed asap - it is not private property and is a thoroughfare between two areas of the estate.
