When heading eastbound and opposite the church. The road surface surrounding the metal drain has failed
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 454894.
The failed area around the drain is 80 cm long by 30 cm wide. The subsurface below the drain cover has failed too and the hole is in places 25CM not mm deep. The hole has emerged over the last month. This is probably because the drain is blocked (already reported). The road is travelled by many HGVs every day and the surface is breaking up.
There is a second pothole some 40m to the east outside the house Ashbourne.
