Outside Gatehouse, Sand Lane Torksey

Reported via desktop in the Standing water covering more than half the road category anonymously at 19:04, Mon 10 April 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 454964.

Every time we have rain the road gets like this. The drainage channels in the kerb are completely silted up and so the rain can't drain away. We have had council operatives dig a shovel of mud out of them before, but that does not solve the problem, the whole system needs cleaning out.

  • 1 hour of rain and this is the result. It can be seen from the picture of the culvert that there is no flow of water down it, or either of the other two culverts, As can be seen from the picture the water is encroaching my land up the pathway.
