Lamp Standard Removed and not replaced

Reported via desktop in the Street light category by STUART ILLSLEY at 14:17, Monday 17 April 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 455908.

I have reported this problem reapeatedly ove the last 2 years, the Lamp was removed 2 years ago, a representative of the council attended last v year and marked the pavement, saying that a replacement would be fitted soon!!! 12 months later we still wait. Burns Road is used regularly as a 'rat run' for the local 'takeaways' in Stirling Road and we only have ONE lamp post. The street is populated with pensioners and is DANGEROUS with no lighting. PLEASE CAN YOU FIX THIS.

  • We’ve had a look at the street light and found that it’s not working because there’s a problem with the power supply. We’ve reported this to the electricity board. Once they have fixed getting power to the light we will re-inspect it and schedule any further repairs if necessary.
