Soakaway

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 458725.

Soakaway collapsed causing flooding of road and footpath. Opposite number 23 Bourne Rd. Been blocked for about 20 years. Contractors have tried twice to jet it but have confirmed that the pipework to it has collapsed!

  • I understand the footpaths are being resurfaced soon. If soakaways work is being scheduled are you liaising with the different teams to coordinate works? And on that note, the concrete verge between 21 and 23 Bourne Road has been overdue repair since the earthquake damage approx 15 years ago. We have confirmation that this is LCC responsibility so can we have assurances that the resurfacing includes that area up to our property.

  • Footpath re-surfacing has now been completed. Any update on the soakaways and the damaged and eroded concrete verge to complete the works?
