Flooding at entrance to new housing estate

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 458789.

Despite reporting this previously and being told the problem is fixed this is not the case. In putting in the entrance to the new housing estate they blocked/removed a road drain. When it rains this entrance area floods. It never did this previously. But now the footpath goes across the entrance and hence there is no way aroudn without havign to go through the water.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because we have a major scheme for resurfacing the carriageway, footway and repairing the drainage later this year, so we have cancelled this job as it will be sensible to do this as part of the larger scheme.
