Overgrown trees when driving along Towngate East towards Godsey Lane prevent a view of pedestrians crossing at the dropped kerb and cars leaving Harrier Way onto Towngate East.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

This issue is gradually getting worse preventing vehicles turning out of Harrier way from seeing vehicles approaching from the right. Along the length of Towngate East the trees are encroaching on the road.
