Between southview and sundown candlesby

Reported via desktop in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 19:29, Friday 26 May 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 460393.

To clarify I also am a user of the Highway who is in significant danger every time I leave my drive to join the Major Carriageway that is the A158.Before the Pandemic this "overgrown verge" was cut right down twice a year by Council Contractors.REcently May 2023 they came BUT just cut a tiny strip along the edge. Please check records as since I have lived here for the last 11 Years there have been major Traffic Collisions on this stretch of road including a Multi car Pile up caused by my neighbour (now sadly deceased) who tried to join the carriageway from his drive he couldn"t see the traffic approaching due to this constant overgrown verge and in doing so he caused a major crash which involved shutting this section of the carriageway for several hours and police Ambulances and Fire Engines attending.Feel free to check Police records. So as a Pensioner all I ask is that your Tractor with flail Mower contractor cuts the verge properly from now on Between my Property and next door. Please dont just close this as its dangerous.
