Verge of number 57 watergate
Reported via desktop in the Damaged dyke, ditch or culvert category anonymously at 16:42, Friday 9 June 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 461728.
This manhole has been covered with edging stone. This is council land as it’s not on my deeds. It is unsafe and not appropriate for the large hole underneath. I have had Anglian water out and it is not their responsibility- I have also called the local council who told me to contact yourselves.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. A site inspection was carried out with the Local Highways manager on 12/07/23. It has been agreed that this is not an immediate safety hazard so no action will be taken at this time but we will continue to monitor during our routine highway inspections. Thank you for reporting this matter.
