On Dysart Road, outside Henry Bell's.

Reported via mobile in the Flowing water, no risk to life or property category anonymously at 11:05, Friday 16 June 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 462369.

Water has been coming out of a manhole in the road surface for at least a couple of months, and running across the road, damaging the road surface. The water flow is clear, absolutely constant, and so isn't caused by precipitation. Anglian water claim it isn't theirs, so because it's in the road it must be yours.

  • Unfortunately 2024 will be far too late - it will only take a couple of degrees of frost to turn this busy road into a skating rink, and the water flow has already damaged the surface causing pot holes which require drivers to skirt round to avoid damage to vehicles.
