50 Grantham Road, Waddington, Lincs, LN5 9LS

Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 10:19, Tue 20 June 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 462702.

The drain immediately outside my front gate overflows every time we have a spell of rain. The water then flows onto my path which is starting to crack and erode. This has been reported before in January this year (ref no. 443529). As a result of that report, cleaning of the drain was scheduled. This has not solved the issue - further investigation is required please.

  • Thank you. Can you tell me whether this is a new drain etc or what the work is to guarantee this will cure the problem?

  • This is still an ongoing problem. Whatever remedy was put in place, has failed. This needs a completely new drain re-installation. The sucker truck doesn’t make any difference. Please can you sort this out before my property gets flooded. Kind regards.

  • This issue is still not resolved - please advise when a new drain (connected to the main road sewer) will be installed in order to rectify this constant issue. Please also advise what the council proposes about repairing my footpath which has been eroded due to this problem. Best regards Paul Lidster lidster69@hotmail.com
