Centre of the Brigg road at the crossroad

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 463185.

There’s a deep wide pothole on the left to centre of the Brigg road direction at the Crossroad, which is difficult to see until you’re on it. Its depth will cause vehicle damage and is an accident waiting to happen. So far I’ve been lucky having hit it with no discernible damage, but it must be considered as a major hazard waiting to happen.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • This issue has also been report to the head of highways as i suspect there is an issue of subsidence and not just a pot hole
