Pavement / cycle way opposite St Georges school

Reported via mobile in the Tree/hedge restricting available highway category anonymously at 14:23, Sun 9 July 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 464487.

It is now impossible to walk on the pavement without having to lean your head into the road. Having just done this my husband said it was lucky no traffic was coming as he would have been hit by a lorry's wing mirror. (see photo) You cannot pass another person without stepping into the road on this blind bend and it is also supposed to be a cycle lane! It is opposite a primary school but you could not hold your child's hand and walk on the pavement side by side, a real health and safety concern.

  • Just walked past this again and the part that is the worst is opposite #120 / 122 not the school and it is getting worse daily.
