Section of footpath between no 2 and 2a Stamford road
Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 08:47, Wed 19 July 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 465445.
As agreed with the council planning dept. and Anglian Water, resurfacing of Stamford Road was to take place following excavations by Anglian Water to a water meter for 2 Stainby Road located on Stamford road. Despite assurances, the resurfacing and excavation took place of the same day (18/07/23), resulting in the section of pavement between 2 and 2a Stamford road not being resurfaced. Anglian Waters notice indicates a completion date for their works of 21/07/23. Please can you advise when the resurfacing of this section of pavement will be complete after this date. Please also note that the Balfour Beatty contractors had not been informed by the council planning of the intended excavations to Stamford road on that day, and were not flexible in changing the order they resurfaced the various street pavements in the village which could have allowed both works to take place on that day.
