Mill Lane NG335QB opposite speed indicator double gate nearest to village side

Reported via desktop in the Flowing water, life or property at risk category anonymously at 07:34, Thursday 20 July 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 465585.

Recent highway re surface has brought highway surface level with top of my dropped curb that was installed 1987 as per planning application. During this spell of heavy rain ,the road surface water travelling west to east ,has flowed over my kerb from the highway , down my drive and entered my kitchen. The path outside my door has a drain and soak away ,but the water was so heavy ,it was able to cross the drain and enter my kitchen. I was hoping there could be something you could help with please .

  • Hello , I wonder if you are able to give me a timescale for completion of work to safeguard my property from flooding will be carried out please. We recently had heavy rain This time during the night. Although the water did not pass my soak away drain and enter my kitchen this time it is very worrying every time it rains heavy.

  • Good Morning, I wonder if there is any update on the proposed kerb work planned please. The sandbags do prevent water from entering my property but I have to move them in order to access with my car. At my age I am finding it incredibly difficult to physically lift them. Thank you.
