A15 carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 09:49, Fri 21 July 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 465697.

The markings to create the southbound right turn box are badly worn. This is predominantly due to the fact they were very poorly made and were worn within a week of their first application.) The double white lines are also very badly worn. These are essential to prevent northbound traffic from overtaking and putting other road users at risk. It is very common for northbound vehicles to overtake over the worn white lines. The marking are so poor that the offence would likely not be prosecutable.
