The pictures highlight the overgrown weeds into the road covering part of the "SLOW" signage this is now "OW" making this road DANGEROUS from both directions. Also someone from Highways has painted a "New SLOW" signage on the opposite side of the road making it look "One Way" this has cause numerous near misses. ELDC have done some weed removal but had not realised that approx 1 mte of road is under weeds. This needs urgent attendion as LCC could be held liable for any accidents as they have "INCORRECTLY" MAKED the road.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the road edge has been cleared and the SLOW signage on the road has now been replaced. We have also ensured that this is in the correct location before the bend. Thank you for reporting this matter.
