Gutters haven't been cleared in a long time and are full of dirt and plant life. Needs more than the roadsweeper to clear the build up

  • Thanks for telling us about the fault. We’ve had a look at it and the drain will be cleaned as part of the next schedule of works.

  • It is not a drain problem. It is a gutter problem and both the A153 High Street and Lodge Road need a roadsweeper and gang to remove the dirt and plant life that affect the drainage of the roads.

  • Any timescale for action on this problem. If you wait too long the dirt will turn to mud and will be more difficult to remove.
