Roman Road just level 86 and 84 boundary
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 16:53, Thu 24 August 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 468979.
The drain is broken, it doesn’t drain water away it just sits there. It has damaged the path which is now under repair but you haven’t done anything about the underlying problem which is that the drain doesn’t work. Please I’ll say it again, the drain is not working correctly. It’s been regularly cleaned out by a lorry with a suction pipe but water still doesn’t drain away. Vehicles splash through it then it evaporates. Please repair the drain. Kind regards Matthew Adsetts

The potholes have been repaired but more have opened up again. Outside our property, 88 Roman Road, there is a severe dip in the pavement and my car underside scrapes when reversing into the drive. Other potholes outside our property soak our drive with dirty water that has ruined our new drive laid in 2014.
Oxcroft Bank, our route to Whaplode St Catherine and beyond, has had some repairs but the road is still 2 levels, as if there has been an earthquake. You ruin your vehicle using the road.
All the roads around Moulton Chapel are the same. The new A16 Spalding to Peterborough is a death trap. You try to miss the potholes but it is a very busy road. We have no public transport so having your own vehicle is essential. Normal wear and tear travelling to Peterborough to work everyday is bad enough but the extra wear caused by the poor road surfaces is ridiculous.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED. The problems described before still exist. Disgraceful service. Our neighbour Matthew Adsetts made the situation more than clear. Our drive is the other side at 88 ,not connected to 84/86.
