The drain cover on the road side cannot be lifted to clean the drain due to tarmac sealing the drain. When it rains it causes significant standing water which also runs down the driveway causing pooling of water in our garden. This problem has been happening since the road was last re-laid but is becoming worse as the drain cannot be cleaned out.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
