Blackthorn Lane, Cammeringham, LN1 2SH

Reported via desktop in the Other road surface issue category by James Lockwood at 11:54, Fri 25 August 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 469030.

The surface of Blackthorn Lane has become increasingly worn and therefore increasingly polished and slippery. The road is used frequently by horse riders and because of the gradient and slippiness, horses are becoming increasingly prone to slipping. This morning a horse fell over completely. The rider was caught underneith the horse and the horse stuggled to get up again because of the lack of grip. We urgently request that this road is resurfaced to increase grip.
