  • It is completely untrue that this is 'fixed', absolutely nothing has been done.

  • Footpath is completely overgrown with hedge and tree branches. A minor attempt has been made to weedkill the footpath but this has done very little. Unsafe to travel from Caistor or Cabourne to Hillcrest Park with a pushcair or on foot. Pedestrians are having to walk 2ft onto the grass to pass, evidenced by how the grass has been killed by the weedkiller. The footpath surface itself is uneven and overgrown with mud and grass and I have fallen over on it. Footpath is overgrown from the A1084 to near Cabourne.

  • A good attempt has been made to clear the paths the full length from Caistor to Cabourne, however the hedge still overhangs the footpath in many, many places and the choice is to either get clothes/skin scratched or step onto the mud or into the A46 to pass.

  • DANGEROUS OCCURENCE I was almost hit by a lorry trying to navigate this footpath as it still has not been cut back. The hedge overgrows the footpath in dozens of places now and you must step into the 60mph A46 Trunk Road to pass along the footpath. The footpath is the only access to the local bus services with stops approx 1/2 mile to the East and West as LCC removed the bus stops at Caistor Top. This complaint has been ongoing for almost a year and is ridiculous it is left in such a dangerous condition.
