Pedestrain safety barrier is heavily damaged due to a vehicle impact. Two barriers and the support are severly damaged and weakens, and the retaining bolts severed. On junction of Newark Road and Doddington Road, LN6 7EN. what3words: ///slips.supposes.notion

  • I see that the dropped pin on map is actually on the wrong side of Newark Road. Damaged barriers are actually across the road, on the corner of Doddington Road and Newark Road.

  • Still not fixed. Bolts are sheered and this safety barrier no longer does its function. This is at a junction where cars regularly crash into it about once a year. Without a safety barrier fit for purpose the next crash could take out the bridge wall and cost an immense amount to reinstate.
