49 Hix's Lane, Tydd St Mary Wisbech PE13 5QW

Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 16:09, Fri 1 September 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 469568.

Tarmac broken up leading to problems getting out of the drive having to accelerate into the road to get over the hump. We seem to be the only house on the street that has to climb out of our drive to get onto the road. Perhaps the kerb was not lowered enough initially?

  • We have added deeper gravel to our drive but still struggle to get up the slope across the pavement to the road. The tarmac is split and uneven on the pavement and slopes down to our drive. We have to accelerate to get out of the drive onto the road which is not a safe manoeuvre given that we are close to the junction with Lowgate and cars frequently speed on that road.

  • Still no response from you. Please let me know what you are intending to do to rectify the uneven, crumbly sloping tarmac before someone trips and falls.
