Investigating
Waste land between pavement and industrial units on Tentercroft Street
Reported via desktop in the Weeds on the highway category anonymously at 10:50, Mon 4 September 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 469715.
The waste land between Tentercroft Street and the industrial units is severely overgrown. We have observed people defecating and urinating in the wasteland, and also people drug dealing and injecting/using illegal drugs within the wasteland. The overgrown nature of the weeds and shrubbery mean this goes on almost daily. There are also discarded hypodermic needles within the waste land. The weeds are also so overgrown they are starting to block the path next to the Highway. The police and the Co-op have been informed and have both advised that this area is Lincolnshire County Council property and is your responsibility to deal with it. Please can you send someone urgently to clear the hypodermic needles, poo, weeds etc. It is utterly disgraceful. People use this as a pedestrian cut through (despite it's filth), and at this rate it won't be long before someone hurts themselves on a needle and ends up with an awful disease.

It is now 2 months later and still the overgrown wasteland has not been strimmed or cut back, and the problems are still being encountered.
