The down pipe from this property runs directly onto footpath and due to the damage of the footpath, there is nowhere for the water to run naturally onto the road and to the normal drains. Can a drain run off be applied to this footpath safely so the water runs away from the property. Would be happy to pay a contribution towards this fix. As it is highways property, I thought it would be best directing this request to you.

    Thank you for the updates but this is taking longer than anticipated and we are concerned as the rain is relentless at the moment and the water just sits there at the corner of the house. I have placed a temporary drain run off to the bottom of the downpipe until the works is complete.
