Rain accumulates and covers the entire road which is unable to drain away due to blocked drains. It floods onto to the driveway of 5 Love Lane as can be seen from the attached photos. This has been a long term issue that requires action to resolve.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

Unfortunately despite the work to upgrade the kerb drain access covers and clear blocked drains in Love Lane within a few days we are back to square one with the drains on both sides of the road once again blocked and drain water flowing down the driveway of number 5.
