Road outside numbers 11, 13 and 16
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 470975.
The concrete road has sunk in 2 locations and road has broken up around inspection chamber access point. Further east on the road in a previously tarmac repaired part there are several smaller potholes scattered about. All these defects are dangerous to cyclists and mobility scooter users. These defects are at least 2 months old. Today is 16-09-2023.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

The inspection chamber access and two sunken areas have not been touched. Some cold pour tarmac has been put in a few of the worst potholes and compacted with no bitumen seal strip. This will wash away in the next couple of weeks. Is there no clerk of works? Is this standard of work really acceptable to Lincs C C?
