Double street, Spalding

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings category anonymously at 16:44, Sat 16 September 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 471006.

Albion street closed due to roadworks.. Lorry's cannot see that double street is a two way street but then turns into a one way street therefore a lorry goes down this street it is IMPOSSIBLE to turn such a huge vehicle around. This has happened about 5 times this week with lorries and multiple times with cars. The no entry sign is too far to the left of the footpath and is also dirty and very old. No one can make out what it actually is. The no entry writing on the road is no good. Outside Katana restaurant there needs to be bigger and more explanatory for all vehicle drivers explaining the road is not fully accessible for the whole street. It needs to be clearer that there is no thorough thru. This is a dangerous area and buildings, vehicles and residents/pedestrians could get seriously hurt/damaged.
