Surface water drain outside James Dawson factory

Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 16:13, Monday 18 September 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 471169.

During heavy rainfall the surface drain backs up and floods the factory. Surface water drain on Beevor Street is overwhelmed/covered in water, rainwater on site cannot leave site and floods. Surface water drain will slowly drain away but clearly does not have sufficient flow as water will sit over the drain for a time period after rainfall with no detectable flow.

  • I can assure you that it is not fully operational, in fact there is standing water in the drains right now, who looked at it??. during heavy rain it floods, every time and as a consequence we have approximately 200 square meters of flood inside our building.
