On the corner of Mountbatten Avenue Pinchbeck directly adjacent to No 12 Mountbatten Avenue

Reported via mobile in the Standing water covering more than half the road category by Mr Ken Shirley at 17:20, Monday 18 September 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 471177.

Due to three blocked Rainwater road Gullies outside my house every time it rains the corner is flooded with rainwater. During the last week the road has been flooded 3 times the last time being today 18/09/23 the road is flooded the full width every time it rains especially when the weather is severe like todays storm. This issue has been notified on a number of occasions over the last three years and was reported at the beginning of last week, the fault is severely blocked drain gullies which you the council have failed to unblock despite numerous requests to clear. Not only is this problem a danger when the level of water is over the kerbs, vehicles going through the water at speed washes the water over our gardens and is washing my soil away which I have had to replace at great expense. This has happened again today because of the flooding and is now getting serious. Despite your last message saying there isn’t a problem I can assure you that there is and until you clear the three blocked gullies urgently its going to cause major problems.
