Drain backing up after heavy rain then flows down into our drive to form a pool and flooding the house on Sunday/Monday 17th/18th September

    The Parish Council are concerned that these drains are not being maintained and require urgent attention. Please take action as soon as possible to ensure that no further damage is caused to local properties

  • In this instance we don’t intend on taking immediate action. Because our current resources are extremely limited we have to focus our enforcement on matters of a significant danger or nuisance to road users. We can, however, continue to monitor the site during our routine inspections and will review the situation. Thank you. If this becomes a reoccurring issue please supply photos of the flooded area.
