Missing bollards
Reported via desktop in the Other road surface issue category anonymously at 14:04, Tue 19 September 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 471277.
A section of Palin Drive / Green Lane was built to single carriageway width, with removeable barrier posts at each end. (Thus Magellan Way has 'No Through Road' signs at it's entrance.) Those barrier posts have been removed at both ends, leaving only the in-road fixings. What was a closed section of road to stop through traffic is now open road. There is an increasing amount of both civilian and commercial vehicles using this as a high speed rat-run to avoid traffic jams on St. Thomas's Road. A new bungalow is being built within this section of road, but there is no reason why one end cannot be blocked off and its delivery vehicles use the other entrance. Could you re-instate the 'No through Road ' please by re-installing (more robust) posts. Thanks
