Problem with flooding on property 32 Peak hill
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category by James Skinner at 18:25, Tue 19 September 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 471315.
I contacted you nearly a year ago about the issue with the road drains along this piece of road. It took a local committee member from Cowbit to get involved with this case before anything progressed. I appreciate the drain in question was cleaned out, but the problem with flooding onto my property still remains. This is due to the outlet of the drain to the field opposite not being cleared fully, which in turn still causes the drains to back up. After the rain that we had at the weekend and the damage this is causing to my propety I feel this iss not acceptable at all and the issue has not been rectified.
Please can you revisit this case and get these drains cleared fully before the winter wet sets in once again. It may also help if the drop curb into my property is raised to the correct height. The drop curb is near on level with road surface die to continued resurfacing.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon with a solution to my problem.
