Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 471597.

I witnessed an accident on Monday between a cyclist and pedestrian with both parties ending up crashing into the road. The cyclist was approaching at a fairly fast pace and the pedestrian failed to look towards the cyclist after checking for traffic from the other direction. Please give some consideration to improving this section of road. It is used very heavily by pedestrians and the flow of cyclists against the flow of vehicular traffic is confusing to people that don't know the road. It may be a good idea to warn cyclists to approach with care/caution and at a slow speed. Perhaps some more signs could be put up to warn pedestrians or some indications to look in both directions. I am surprised there are not more accidents on this stretch of road considering how heavily used it is and how difficult it is to see at times. Fortunately both people this time were OK but it would have been a different matter if a car had been approaching at the time when they ended up on the road.
