Swinstead Road between Swinstead and A151

On 18 September 2023, my car sustained damage to the front offside tyre, due to a pothole on Swinstead Road. I was enroute to Grantham for an MOT and there was a diversion between Swinstead and Corby Glen, which necessitated travelling on Swinstead Road to meet up with the A151. The day before this happened, I had Halfords run a pre-inspection on the car and they found it to be in good condition. Time was spent examining each wheel and they were all sound. However, RJM Motors in Grantham, who were selected by the AA, failed the MOT. There was a bulge in the tyre and it had to be replaced. The cost of £156 was for fitting the new tyre and also cleaning the back brakes.
