A151 500m Grantham side of Forstedhill junct

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 472022.

The road has sunk to cause a significant dip which has signs out for an uneven road surface. Most road users who know its there move/swerve over to the opposite side of the road to avoid it. This contravenes the double white line system which protects vehicles coming over the brow of the hill. There is going to be a head on collision where people will be killed or seriously injured if this serious road defect is not rectified as quickly as possible!!

  • As a regular user of this road, I can confirm the accuracy of the complaint. The bump in the road is dangerous and most people swerve to avoid.
