Your Enquiry Flooded street due to blocked drains
Hi
I am sending you this to be directed to the correct department in respect of flooded roads due to blocked drains in the main road. This is particularly noticable when we have had heavy rain as we have had in the last few weeks. The road in question is Rutland Road Mablethorpe Lincolnshire LN12 1EN, particularly outside no 9 and opposite no 8 which virtually covers the whole road as the two blockages join and I have noticed further up the street too. I live at number 7 and when the road floods it very nearly runs down my drive. In a prolonged spell it definitely would and even now when flooded and a car goes down this sends a wave of water down towards my bungalow.
Can you please let the correct department know that the drains in this street, especially outside the houses I have outlined needs to be cleaned out.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.
