  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • Outside Royal Oak Drains have not been cleared since I last reported the problem, they are full with soil. Rain has no where to go and covers road, deepest by pub, this leads to traffic on the wrong side of the road. Please be aware that no regular maintenance has taken place for a long time! The report's reference number is 437532. Please quote this if you need to contact the council about this report. Your response:- New updates on Outside Royal Oak We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because this site has been attended to on the drainage cleansing programme since the issue was first reported and no drainage issues were reported back.     ….they have not been attended to since I reported around 2 years ago.

    As the water has no where to go the whole road gets flooded.

    Think this should be a compliant now.

With current resources we are limited to actioning drainage issues that are a high risk to property flooding and road users, as such we are unable to take action with this request at this time.
