The passing place on the A15 to allow motorists travelling north to pass vehicles turning right onto Navenby Lane
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 472071.
At a recent Parish Council meeting it was brought to our attantion that a number of local motorists had seen this area used as a lay-by as there is no clear signage as to the purpose of it. Perhaps it would benefit from some arrows on the road or a solid white line on the edge similar to that seen on the A15/B1178 turning? There were some safety concerns due to the speed of traffic approaching the junction if the passing place were to be blocked by a stationary vehicle.
