Request for pedestrian crossing outside of school
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 15:29, Wednesday 27 September 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 472081.
Currently, there is no safe way to cross this busy stretch of road. Not only would a pedestrian crossing ensure safe crossing it would also slow speeding vehicles that also remain a problem coming/leaving the village. Children are at risk of being hurt or killed due to the speeds and unsafe road crossing especially now houses are lived in across the road and people parking across the road from school
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

Thank you for sending in your request. You’ll need a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for what you have requested. To get one you need to contact your Parish or Town council. If the Parish or Town council support your request, they can then contact their County Councillor who will get the TRO actioned. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
