Street light ‘PN12’ outside #13 Mill Crescent, Scotter

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 473216.

This street lamp has not been working for several weeks. It is very dark on this corner and will be worse when the clocks change. It is marked ‘PN12’

  • We’ve had a look at the street light and found that it’s not working because there’s a problem with the power supply. We’ve reported this to the electricity board. Once they have fixed getting power to the light we will re-inspect it and schedule any further repairs if necessary.

  • Still not working. This has been out now for months and is extremely dark. A lot of elderly people live on this street and are frightened to walk round. This needs sorting out urgently.

  • This is still not working months after being reported and no updates. Really seems pointless reporting with no action or updates to explain or provide an ETA for when it will be fixed. Maybe if we knocked some council tax off things would move quicker!!

  • 26/03/24 - Excitement as two men appeared in a van with a minidigger on a trailer. They gave PN12 a good dose of looking at for about 15 mins and then got back in the van and drove off !!! PN12 is still not working.... 🙄

  • 28/03/24 - The two men reappeared with van and minidigger. Dug a hole in the path and PN12 is working again !! (Just in time for the clocks changing and lighter nights !) They just need to come back and fill in the hole in the path... 🤣 (but at least you can see where the hole is now !!)
