Footpath on Eastfield Road - Ticklepenny Drive to Ticklepenny Lock
Reported via mobile in the Weeds on the highway category anonymously at 17:28, Tue 17 October 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 474289.
Hi. As a regular dog walker and jogger, I am finding the footpath from the edge of Louth from Eastfield Road, out to Ticklepenny Lock (past Louth Park Farms) increasingly difficult to navigate.
The verge is severely encroaching on to the footpath from one side, and the considerable build up of debris weeds and mud encroaching from the road and the gutter on the other. At some points it is difficult to even see where the footpath is.
It has become very narrow and is in a pretty poor state of repair.
Please can I appeal to you to clean this area up and restore it for dog walkers and families etc who want to enjoy this lovely area.
It has got progressively worse over the past 3-4 years.

This situation is still exactly the same. The roadsides need clearing and sweeping and the path needs to be cleared of mud, weeds and debris.
