Reported via desktop in the Flowing water, no risk to life or property category by Russ McLuckie at 10:24, Thu 19 October 2023

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 474457.

Recurring problem of a blocked ditch and culvert next to the footpath adjacent to the school. This causes water to flow over the footpath and road and gather in large puddles after rain. • This will cause a major ice hazard if a permanent fix is not put in place to resolve this before cold weather and this is right by a school.

  • As predicted the storm overnight has caused the flooding to worsen. The stream is now a small river and the pond in Back Lane is 6" deep right across the road. Road erosion and traffic flow are also now affected.
