Sunken drain covers following road resurfacing
Reported via mobile in the Manhole/drain cover on road/cycleway category by Fixar Rhodes at 11:25, Thu 19 October 2023
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 474470.
I noticed on a recent visit that since the road has been resurfaced (slurry) that now a slack handful of drain covers are now sunken, which could result in a cyclist dropping into them, potentially falling off if catching the rut, and also a vehicles left hand wheels dropping into them. Some are acceptable so not all are affected. I presume you will return and rectify in due course but knowing lincs highways quality of work I thought logging a report would at least leave a paper trail to follow should this work not be routinely carried out. Please assess whole stretch of road you have just covered in slurry

Driven this road today and a very large drop. Have you assessed? If so I am more than happy to return with a measuring rule and create a further complaint.
